Paul Churchland

Clearly I’m not a philosopher. I’m trampling over all kinds of well worn territory here, without a damn, or a clue, about who said what to whom in response to whom. But I have been particularly affected by Paul Churchland’s "Scientific Realism and the Plasticity of Mind". He taught me that we can develop thinking tools. Better concepts, with which we understand vastly more, and which change the nature of our experience. For me, the P-world/R-world distinction is a case in point.
