Variability
While brains are similar from one individual to the next, the correspondence is only approximate. The detailed structure of each nervous system arises in part from intrinsic genetic difference, and in part from specific individual experiences.
The view taken here is that the structure of the nervous sytem generates the experiential world (P-world). No two P-worlds are thus alike. In fact, we do not have a good idea of just how different two subjectivly experienced worlds can be.
This is an important lesson: we do not know how different experienced reality can be for any two distinct individuals. If we acknowledge that, it offers a compelling rational basis for greater respect in our collective interactions.
